My Story
Born in 1978 and bred in Kalmar, Sweden.
In 1998 I moved to Stockholm. After 15+ years as an IT entrepreneur I decided to change path in life and pursue a life as a painter.
In 2014 I enrolled in the Swedish Academy of Realist Art in Stockholm to study classical drawing and painting. After one semester I made the move to Florence, Italy where I began studies at the Florence Academy of Art.
After graduating, in 2017, I was awarded an “Artist in Residency” position at the academy. That involved teaching other students as well as focusing on my own work.
In 2018 I moved back to Sweden and Isola Gård on Öland. From here I run my company Isola Studios where I work on my own projects and teach art classes.

My expression is about shaping the meeting between light and shadow. I explore different themes and myths in search for truth. My foundation is in classic oil painting, but in my creation it is important to try new ways. Daring to search – the truth.
Isola
Isola Studios is the name of my business where I offer art courses and artworks for sale.
Isola Gård is the place where I live on Öland.
Commission
Yes I also paint upon order. Most common are portraits. But it could also be a landscape, home, pet, still life etc. Feel free to contact me with any questions and to discuss your project. In the link below you can read more about the process of painting a portrait.
Teaching
After I completed my art training in Florence I continued on working as a drawing teacher for a year. I enjoy teaching a lot. If you are interested in taking one of my courses, or to study with me in private, please check out the links below.
